About Us

At Bethel, our mission is to glorify God by making more and better disciples. We take seriously the call to be a church that is shaped by Scripture, grounded in historic Christian truth, and committed to living out our faith with conviction and compassion.

We believe the church is more than a place to attend. It's a family where people are known, cared for, equipped to serve, and encouraged to grow in holiness.

We invite you to discover what it means to pursue life in Christ together.

Following Jesus
is a way of life.

Discipleship is more than attending church on Sundays. We grow together through four ongoing rhythms that help us know Christ, become more like Him, and participate in His mission.

01

Receive
Grace

Life in Christ begins with the good news of what Jesus has done for us. We respond in repentance and faith, resting in His grace as He continues to transform us.

02

Engage in
Worship

We seek to glorify God with our whole lives through Scripture, prayer, gathered worship, and everyday obedience.

03

Strengthen
the Church

Following Jesus isn’t meant to happen alone. We grow as we build relationships, care for one another, and use our gifts to serve.

04

Tell the
World

Jesus sends us to love our neighbors and share the good news of the gospel in our communities and around the world.

Our Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Bethel based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

The Triune God
We believe the one true and living God is one in essence, possessing three, personal distinctions: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Scriptures
We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original manuscripts and the sufficient and final authority for all matters of faith, practice, and life.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary; that He paid the penalty for our sins on the cross and He rose from the dead three days later.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit and that He indwells and enables the Christian to live a godly life.
Mankind
We believe all human beings, except Jesus Christ, are totally depraved and guilty before God as a result of the fall of Adam. We commit acts of sin because we are sinners by nature.
Salvation
We believe the Triune God saves sinners by grace alone through faith in Christ’s substitutionary atonement alone.
The Church
We believe the universal Church is the body of Christ, comprised of all true believers from the past, present, and those in the future until the Rapture.  Jesus Christ is the sole head of the Church. We believe the local church is an assembly of immersed believers led by elders and served by deacons.
Ordinances / Sacraments
We believe there are two church ordinances: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Future Things
We believe that Jesus Christ is returning to the world in the future to judge the living and the dead.
Family
We believe God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. Marriage is the uniting of one man (from birth) and one woman (from birth) in covenant commitment for a lifetime. It is God’s unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His church. Life begins at conception, and children are a blessing and heritage from the Lord.
