A: God is the creator of everyone and everything.
Psalm 86:9-10, 15 (NIV) — Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours. All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.

Scripture (3 Minutes)
John 8:31–36 (NLT)
Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
“But we are descendants of Abraham,” they said. “We have never been slaves to anyone. What do you mean, ‘You will be set free’?”
Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin. A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.

Discussion (5-10 Minutes)
You can lead through a teaching or use the following questions to start a discussion:
- Jesus said if we follow His teachings, we are really His disciples or followers. What are some of Jesus' teachings we should try to follow?
- Jesus said He can truly set people free (verse 36). How does Jesus set us free from the slavery of sin and wrong choices?
- Jesus wants us to be free, not slaves to sin. What good habits or choices can help us stay free and avoid getting trapped again?
