Steve Miller

We are thrilled to recommend the Miller family to Bethel Baptist Church as Lead Pastor.

Meet Steve Miller

After an extended time of prayerful consideration and discernment, the Pastoral Search Team and the Elder Board is united in the conviction that God is guiding Bethel Baptist Church to invite Steve Miller to serve as our next Lead Pastor. Grounded in our dedication to glorifying God by making more and disciples, we have pursued a leader who will preach the Word with faithfulness, shepherd God’s people with humility, and help lead our church in mission. We believe Pastor Steve reflects these qualities and is well-suited to this role.
On Sunday, March 22nd the Pastoral Search team voted to extend the call to Steve. He accepted the call on March _______ to become part of our church family.
A letter from the Elder Board
A year ago, our congregation charged the Elder Board with one of the most significant responsibilities a church family can give its leaders: finding the man God has prepared to shepherd Bethel Baptist into its next season. We have not taken that trust lightly.

We began by forming a search committee from within our own congregation and partnering with Vanderbloemen, a pastoral search firm, to cast a wide net and carefully vet candidates. After that thorough process, the committee brought a unanimous recommendation to the Elder Board: Steve Miller. We then spent considerable time in our own interviews, conversations, and prayer, listening carefully and seeking the Lord's confirmation, before arriving at the same conclusion with full unity.

Pastor Steve, we believe, is the man God has prepared for this moment. He is biblically qualified, spiritually mature, and gifted to lead this congregation with faithfulness and care. We are honored to present him to our church family as the Lead Pastor candidate

We ask each of you to prepare your hearts prayerfully as we approach this vote together.

—The Elder Board: Ashi Agrawal, Duclair Atis, Kevin Crowley, David Gonzalez, Chris Kershaw, Jaress Loo, John Munchel, and Jakob Siegel
