Take Your Next Step
There's a place for you at Bethel. Whether you're ready to take a step of faith, serve, or find community, we'd love to help you get connected.

There's a place for you at Bethel. Whether you're ready to take a step of faith, serve, or find community, we'd love to help you get connected.

Baptism is a visible picture of God's promises to those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. It points to the forgiveness of our sins through Christ and our union with Him in His death and resurrection.
Baptism also marks us as belonging to the Triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - and to His church.
At Bethel, we believe baptism is for those who have personally trusted in Jesus Christ. If you're a Christian, baptism is a step of obedience God calls you to take. You don't need to have everything figured out or reach a certain level of spiritual maturity first!
Getting baptized at Bethel is a simple three-step process.
Let us know you're interested in pursuing baptism by completing our interest form. An elder will contact you to schedule a conversation about baptism.
You'll meet with an elder to talk about your faith in Jesus Christ and learn more about what we believe and teach about baptism at Bethel.
This is an opportunity to ask questions, share your story, and discern together whether you're ready to be baptized. It's not a test you need to study for!
Once you're ready to be baptized, we'll work with you to select an upcoming Sunday service and make the arrangements. We look forward to celebrating this step with you and our church family!
Membership is a meaningful way to commit yourself to the life and mission of Bethel. If you're interested in becoming a member, we'd love to help you take that next step!
Becoming a member at Bethel is a three-step process.
Let us know you're interested in pursuing membership by completing our interest form. A staff member will contact you with more information about our next Discover Bethel class.
Discover Bethel is a four-week class designed to help you learn who we are as a church, what we believe, and what it means to be a member of our church family.
Those pursuing membership are asked to attend at least three of the four classes.
After attending Discover Bethel, you'll complete a membership application. This gives us an opportunity to get to know you, hear about your faith in Jesus Christ, and talk through any questions about membership.
Once the membership process is complete and the biblical qualifications for membership are affirmed, the church will formally welcome you into membership.
God has given each of us gifts and opportunities to serve others. Whether you're welcoming guests, investing in the next generation, or meeting practical needs, there's a place for you to make a difference at Bethel.
Help make Bethel a welcoming place! Our Guest Connections Team greets visitors, helps people feel at home, and creates a warm, hospitable environment on Sunday mornings. Church membership is not required to serve in this area.
Use your musical gifts to help lead our congregation in worship. Opportunities include instrumentalists and vocalists.
Because leading worship is an important responsibility, participation involves a conversation about musical ability, readiness, and the current needs of the team.
Help make our Sunday services run smoothly behind the scenes! Opportunities include sound, livestream production, presentation slides, and other technical support. Whether you're experienced or interested in learning, we'd love to hear from you.
Help children learn about Jesus in a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment.
Sunday Mornings: Serve in Uptown, our ministry for infants through preschool-age children, or The Loft, our ministry for kindergarten through fifth grade. Opportunities include teaching, leading small groups, and caring for children during our Sunday service.
Wednesday Evenings: Help with KidZone, our ministry for kindergarten through fifth grade during the school year, or provide childcare for children ages 2-5.
All children's ministry volunteers must complete our required screening process, including a background check.
Invest in the next generation by helping middle and high school students grow as disciples of Jesus. Our teens gather on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:45 PM.
Serving in this ministry is about more than helping on Wednesday nights. Our leaders seek to build meaningful relationships, encourage students in their faith, and disciple them over time.
Because of the nature of this role, leadership opportunities are considered individually and depend on the ministry's current needs and screening requirements.
Serve people in need and share the love of Christ beyond the walls of our church.
Saints Prison Ministry: Help write and sign birthday cards each month for incarcerated individuals, reminding them they are not forgotten.
Seeds of Hope: On months with a fifth Saturday, help prepare and serve breakfast and distribute clothing to people experiencing homelessness in Camden.
Rehab Ministry: Visit residents of local rehabilitation facilities, help lead worship services, offer encouragement, and build relationships with people facing physical and other health challenges.
Help care for the building and grounds God has entrusted to us. Opportunities range from organizing spaces and cleaning to painting, repairs, and other maintenance projects. Whether you have a particular trade skill or simply a willingness to help, there are ways to serve!
At Bethel Kids, we want children to know Jesus, grow in their understanding of God's Word, and discover what it means to follow Him. Through age-appropriate Bible teaching and caring volunteers, we provide a safe and welcoming place for every child.
Through Bible stories, songs, play, and caring volunteers, we introduce little ones to Jesus and His love for them.
Children explore God's Word through engaging Bible teaching, activities, and relationships with caring leaders.
Join us Wednesdays at 7:00 PM during the school year for Bible teaching, small groups, Scripture memory, and games!
Bethel Teens is our ministry for students in 6th through 12th grade. Our desire is to see teenagers become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ who know Him, grow in their faith, and live it out in everyday life.
On Wednesday evenings, students gather for a night of fun, friendship, and spiritual growth. Our evenings include games, Bible teaching, small-group discussions, and opportunities to build meaningful relationships with other students and leaders.
When: Every Wednesday
Time: 7:00-8:45 PM
Who: Students in grades 6-12
At Bethel Teens, we believe discipleship is about more than attending a weekly program. Our leaders are committed to building relationships with students, encouraging them in their walk with Christ, and partnering with families as teenagers grow in faith.
Our goal is simple: to help every teenager take meaningful steps toward owning their faith and following Jesus for themselves.
